What Landscaping Attachments are available
for the Skid Steer Loader?
By: Dave Cole
The skid steer loader is the most versatile tool for landscape
and maintenance crews. In the summer it is used with bucket
attachments to haul materials and to dig holes, with brooms for
sweeping, and with blades for clearing land and leveling ground.
In the winter, with a plow attachment, it becomes a snow removal
system that can fit into small spaces and take on small and large
jobs from sidewalks to parking lots. It can be a snow blower,
carry and distribute ice melt chemicals, and move snow to
disposal spots.
